Gifts and Movie Watching!

Hi!!

Hey everyone - it's me, Tucker!

How have your holidays been going? Did you eat too much? What about gifts - did you get any cool gifts? I did! Oh, boy! I got to celebrate Christmas with Uncle Chris and Auntie Kate. And it was Awesome!

It was nice to be part of a family again for Christmas - and I got gifts! For me! How cool is that? They were wrapped up and everything :-) I was pretty excited, lemme woof.

First, there was a big gift - wrapped so it wouldn't be hard for me to figure it out...

For me? Really?

I wonder what it could be?

Hmmmmm...

What the heck is...?

It's a BUNNY!!!

It was a Mother Bunny! I didn't know what that was at first, but Uncle Chris said it's every greyhound's favorite toy. I'm not no greyhound, but I will give those skinny dudes some credit - this toy rocks!

Okay - I'll admit it... I'm a fan of the Bunny.

Bunny is really snuggly and fun to play with --

But there was more in store for this little foster dog - Christmas wasn't over yet...

Wait - what's that? Another gift?

Uncle Chris had another package for me. Would I know what to do?

I'll figure it out, thanks!

Have I mentioned that Christmas is fun?!? Or that I'm a pretty talented gift opener?

It's a yummy Jumbone!!

Christmas at UC's house is great...

But I sure wish I was sharing it with my Forever Family.

That Jumbone treat sure was yummy.

Then it was dinner time! And since Uncle Chris always says, "Fosters are Family until they go HOME," I might have gotten a little something extra mixed in my kibble for Christmas dinner!

Kibble, Schmibble - Let's have Salmon!

Salmon might just be the yummiest thing I've ever had mixed in my kibble. We're woofing serious yum! What a special treat :-)

Okay. So now you're wondering what other cute thing could I possibly have done after opening gifts and just being sweet little Tucker, right?

So then...

Well, I went and got Mother Bunny and curled up on my bed when something caught my eye ---

It was a movie UC and AK were watching. And I discovered?

A moving staircase?

I love this movie!

I'm a Harry Potter fan.

Uncle Chris's house is great, it really is. But given the chance to go to Hogwarts? Yeah, I'd be hopping on that magic train in a jiffy!

So I snuggled with Mother Bunny and watched movies the rest of the night until...

ZZZzzzzZZZZ... *magic broomsticks* ...ZZZzzzzZZZ

It was bedtime.

So that was my Christmas - I hope you and yours are having a great Holiday Season!

New Skills and Clean!

Hi!

Hey - how are ya? It's me, Tucker, again. Are you having a good holiday season? Do you have big plans for Christmas? New Years?

Heyyyyy... Hold on just a second, okay? Uncle Chris - are we doing anything fun for Christmas? What about New Years? Hockey? Seriously? Can we watch football and eat yummy treats? oh, whew.

Sorry about that. It occurred to me that I didn't know what we were doing for all that stuff! I wonder if Santy Paws is bringing me anything good this year... He better know where Uncle Chris's house is!

Yes, Tucker. Santy Paws knows where our house is, don't worry your little floppy ears about it. How about telling everyone about your improved skills?

Right, sorry UC. So - it's been a while since we last woofed. I've been practicing the skills I had and I have been learning new ones!

Being House Trained is the biggest one, of course. I've got that down pat - I'll let you know when I need to go by walking to the "I need to go outside" door. Then you come and let me out to do my business :-) I'm also crate trained. The deal is that I'll go in there if you give me a Milkbone - sound fair? And then I'm happy to just hang out in there and snuggle on my blankie... (my blankie is also a requirement).

Then we all know this one, right?

Sit! Okie Dokie :-) --- And I'm working on "Stay," too!

And get rewarded for it...

And I've been learning to get along with Kitty Cats! (UC doesn't have a kitty, so we're going to just have a cute picture of me, okay?)

Me and Puppy are buds, but I could be friends with kitty cats, too!

Let's see, what else have we been practicing... Oh, yeah - I now sit before I go either in or out the door. I'm working on my leash skills, so pretty soon I'm going to a super good leash walker (once this rain lets up).

And I'm still an expert Snuggler!

I love to snuggle on the sofa!

See, Auntie Kate had been traveling for a few days, so I hadn't seen her since I got back to UC's house. I was pretty excited when she got home last night and hopped right up to snuggle!

I sure missed ya, Auntie Kate!

Are you looking for a sofa snuggler for the upcoming chilly winter nights? I'm your guy!!

I have been getting settled in with all my Cuddle Crew, too. Here's me with all the boys: puppy, Puppy, Penguin, and what's left of Red Reindeer (after Danika played with it, sheesh!).

ZZZzzzzZZZZzz...

Then today I got to play with a new toy Uncle Chris got for me, thanks UC!

Wait, this super yummy thing doesn't come out of here?

It took me a minute to figure out how it was supposed to work...

What the heck?

And then I got the concept!

Just chew it in the blue thing, got it!

(UC says while this toy is a great way to keep a doggy entertained and busy, your pup should always be supervised!)

And then... (Cue Scary Music!!)

It was bath time. I actually don't mind baths - I actually take a shower - because it's a chance for Uncle Chris to do some serious loving on this puppy! There just happens to be shampoo involved, and I smell like oatmeal afterwards.

After a busy morning of training, playing, new treat thingy, and a bath? I was bushed. Time for this puppy to get a little shut-eye.
